Our instructors use the AAA 'How to Drive' curriculum - a reduced-risk driving approach designed for new drivers and their families. Topics covered:

Enrolling your teen in our DDS-approved course isn't just a legal requirement - it can also save you money.
Completing a certified Driver's Education program may reduce your car insurance premium by at least 10%, as stated under OCGA 33-9-42. Simply send a copy of your teen's certificate of completion to your insurance company to request the discount. Policy terms vary by provider.
Because 1 ACT Driving Schools is a private company, enrolling your teen qualifies you for a Georgia state tax credit under OCGA 48-7-29.5 - equal to the amount paid for the course or $150, whichever is less.
This credit is only available when the course is taken with a private driving school. It does not apply to courses taken at a public or private high school, or through online-only providers. To claim it, complete the appropriate form with a copy of your teen's certificate of completion. This can be used once per child.
